This three hour program will include various stations that provide education and challenge. Our goal is to define the 10 Essentials for an emergency. We build on this formulated knowledge to discuss and practice simple first aid strategies, assemble a primitive shelter, fire safety and finally a small group tram challenge. With this knowledge in mind we turn our focus to the conservation of wild spaces right here in our own backyard. Finally natural flora and fauna will be introduced, searched for and observed through a fun scavenger hunt.  Our activity stations require the participants to walk between stations on uneven terrain. All portions of the program are held outdoors.

  • Please send 4 to 6 photos of your child from Kindergarten through Fourth Grade. Email photos to AmyMWechsler@gmail.com
  • ALL pictures must be labeled with your child’s name and grade level of the picture. For example, “Rachel Green 3rd Grade”
  • Group pictures (featuring only 4th graders) are preferred.  Please label group pictures with all names. For example, “Rachel Green and Monica Jones, 2nd Grade”
  • Our goal is to include as many of the pictures as possible! We want to ensure every student is in the montage (unless you tell us otherwise).
