Hoops4Health Fall 2026!

Join Us for Basketball Fun at Hoops4Health!

The PTO is excited to continue our after-school basketball clubs through Hoops4Health at Harper for our 1st - 4th graders. 
 
At the Hoops4Health's after-school basketball program, the staff will help your child learn the game by teaching fundamental skills through fun, creative, and well-structured drills and games.
 
We believe basketball should be a joyful experience shared with friends, and we strive to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for all players—no matter their skill level. Whether your child is just starting out or looking to improve, there's a place for them to grow, have fun, and fall in love with the game!
 
  • Time: 3:20pm-4:20pm (coaches will meet participants in the cafeteria at 3:15pm and take them to the gym)
  • Grades 1 and 2: 
    • $240 per student
    • 12 sessions
    • Mondays 8/31-12/14
    • No class 9/7, 9/21, 10/12, 11/23
  • Grades 3 and 4: 
    • $280 per student
    • 14 sessions
    • Tuesdays 9/1-12/15
    • No class 11/3, 11/24
  • Equipment: gym shoes and a basketball
 
Once you have registered, Hoops4Health asks that you complete a waiver.
 
The program is not available for Kindergarten students until 2027.
Each season the program needs a minimum 8 enrollees to run.
The program is capped at a maximum of 25 students per grade.
We will implement a waiting list of needed.

Per section 9 of the Harper PTO’s Financial Policy “All PTO sponsored classes, including but not limited to After School Programs, Great Books, Chorus, and Chess Club, will not issue refunds to students once the first class has begun. All cancellations and refunds must take place prior to the first day of class.”
