Harper Fall Chorus 2023

Fall Session 3rd & 4th grade students are invited to join Harper Chorus!  2nd grade students will have the opportunity to join during the Spring Session which will begin early 2024.  Rehearsals are from 7:50-8:30 AM in the auditorium on the designated days, and students will be going directly to their classrooms when chorus is over. Students can be dropped off beginning at 7:40 AM.

Harper Chorus is a traditional choral experience using a wide variety of musical styles, from folk and classical to popular music.  Students will learn to sing in unison and in parts while learning to work together as an ensemble.  There will be opportunities throughout the year for solos and small group experiences. Members will study the fundamentals of singing, learning the language of choral music, and prepare for performances.

Rehearsal Schedule

1. The Harper Chorus rehearses Tuesday and Thursday mornings before school from 7:50-8:30am in the Harper auditorium.  Our first fall rehearsal will start on Tuesday, September 19th, 2023.

2. It is essential that students are on time for rehearsals, as the first 15 minutes are dedicated to warming up their voices and working on fundamentals.

3. Students are expected to sign in when they arrive.

If you have any questions please contact Melissa Pundsack our PTO Chorus Liaison; chorus@harperpto.com

Fees:

3rd and 4th graders – $70.00
