4th GRADE BIKE TO HIGHCREST

Description

Hi 4th grade parents!

The annual Bike to Highcrest is a special event in the District 39 elementary schools where 4th graders and volunteers are invited to ride their bikes or scooters to Highcrest! This event is jointly sponsored by the PTOs of Highcrest, Central, Harper, McKenzie, and Romona in conjunction with the Wilmette Village School Safety Committee.

The purpose of the event is to:
● Teach students how to safely bike to/from Highcrest, with preferred routes from each neighborhood.
● Review how to bike safely around Highcrest, learn location of bike racks, and review important bike safety information.
● Meet the Highcrest 5th Grade Administrator Linda Moric and Officer Davis from the Wilmette Police Department in a welcome and Q&A session to reinforce bike safety and rules,
