Cafeteria Duty
The cafeteria staff counts on parent volunteers to help serve lunch on a daily basis. Without the parents, the staff would not be able to prep, cook, serve, monitor the line and clean up. The PTO has come up with a way to help them out, by providing parent volunteers to help serve hot lunch and monitor the lines. It's a fun way to see your children in their own environment and become familiar with the new friends they have made at Harper.
The cafeteria duty shift begins at 11:30am and ends at 12:30pm.
- All 5 grades (Kindergarten - 4th grade) will rotate thru the lunch line during this time
- 11:40 am Kindergarten, 1st and 2rd grade lunchtime
- 12:05 pm 3rd and 4th grade lunchtime
To give all Harper families an opportunity to volunteer, please limit your sign ups to 2 lunch duty shifts per month initially. If openings remain unfilled, you are welcome to sign up for additional shifts.
If you are unable to fulfill your commitment, you are responsible for finding a substitute and updating the SignUpGenius with the accurate names of volunteers for security purposes.
For health code reasons, please remember to wear your hair in a ponytail OR a baseball hat, otherwise you may be required to wear a hairnet.
