REGISTRATION Registration will begin on Nov. 14th and end on Nov. 18th. Registration will take place online. If you have any problems registering on-line, please contact email aspregistration@harperpto.com. There will be no late registrations.
If a class is oversubscribed, we will hold a lottery to determine who is enrolled. Your child is only considered enrolled when you receive an email containing your ENROLLMENT NUMBER (this number is used to identify the student). If your child did not get into a class, you will receive an email notifying of such and your PayPal account will be reimbursed for the amount of the class.
POLICIES AND PROCEDURES Classes will begin at 3:20pm and end promptly at 4:20pm. Students should go right from their class to their appropriate club classrooms. If parents arrive later than 4.30pm to pick up your child, we ask you to pay the Hall Monitor an extra $10 for overtime. For younger children we recommend sending in a note on the day of an Afterschool Program to remind the teacher to send the child to the appropriate activity.
Absences Safety is our utmost concern. If your child was in school but is not planning to go to their Afterschool Program, please either email aspregistration@harperpto.com , call the front office at 847-251-6754 or send a note to your child’s teacher letting us know that he/she will not be attending ASP. If your child was not at school, he/she may not attend that day's Afterschool Program.
Cancellation Policy Student cancellations with a refund are allowed until 12 noon on Monday, 11/28/2011. Please email us at aspregistration@harperpto.com to request a refund. We reserve the right to cancel any class if too few students enroll. If a class is cancelled, you will be issued a refund (via PayPal) for that class.
Discipline Appropriate behavior is expected of all our students. District 39 discipline policies will be followed where required.
Schedule All afterschool activities will start the week of Jan. 16th and end the week of Mar. 5th. Given that there are various holidays during this time, Monday classes will have 6 sessions, Tuesday and Friday classes will have 7 sessions and Wednesday and Thursday classes will have 8 sessions. Note: Monday, Jan. 16 is MLK Day and Harper School will be closed
Please anticipate any personal conflicts and your child’s interest level in a class prior to enrollment. There will be no changes or refunds after 11/28/11 unless the class is cancelled.
Please note that there will be no nurse on staff during Afterschool programs. Instructors will be told to call 911 in an emergency or to contact the Hall Monitors in a non-emergency.
