Cafeteria co-chairs coordinate and recruit parent volunteers to work in the Harper cafeteria. Harper depends on 20 volunteers each week to keep the kitchen running smoothly so our children will have plenty of time to eat lunch. Volunteers will serve the children lunch and then receive a unique opportunity to eat with their child and meet their child's friends. Cafeteria volunteers are asked to commit to a day of the week for the entire month they choose (for example, every Tuesday in February). Volunteers should plan on arriving to the cafeteria at 11:05 a.m. and leaving at 1:05 p.m. Parents can select days and months to volunteer--and make sure they're available-- by signing up in the fall at the annual Harper PTO registration event, or anytime throughout the year by contacting either of the co-chairs, Shari Hartman (sharihartman@mac.com) or Michelle Fellman (mich@wirthfellman.com).
