A Campaign to Fund Harper’s Valuable PTO Programs
**which cost an estimated $150/student annually**

After a very successful first year, Advance to Go will again offer parents an easy and streamlined way to fund our valuable PTO programs.  ATG replaces the traditional benefit fundraiser by raising money directly from parents.

While we are again asking for a $100 per student contribution, we know that this amount is more achievable for some than others, and ask that you give an amount that makes sense for your family.

Read on for details on "how to play".

OFFICIAL RULES

Object – To raise money for the Harper PTO directly from parents – instead of through traditional benefit fundraisers. No silent or live auction solicitations, raffle tickets, class gifts, or check-out lines – we’re going direct, and hopefully you’ll find this approach refreshing and straightforward.

Equipment – It’s simple: You and your checkbook or computer and credit card. Bring your tax-deductible contribution to this year’s Opening Day Coffee, or make it online via PayPal on the PTO website.

Preparation – Take a minute to appreciate the range of programs our PTO offers, such as a strong, well-rounded enrichment program that includes over 30 activities. Some examples are: field trips; scientist- and artist-in-residence; outdoor education; drama, music, art and technology; disability and multi-cultural awareness, just to name a few.

To Play – Think about your personal financial position and what feels comfortable as a donation. As a starting point, consider that the enrichment and outdoor education programs alone cost $100 per student per year. While this is a great baseline, we know that this amount is more achievable for some than others. Our goal is 100% participation, so if you’re having a “generous” year, by all means give more, or not, give a little less.

The PTO is thrilled to be able to provide our children with special programs and services that make Harper such a special place! We greatly appreciate your time, consideration and, of course, your gift. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.

Gratefully,

Roxy Freel, Kristyn Gibson, Ellen Hainen & Allison Steinback
